Meet the founders
How Jes & Jason started Vana Care
Jes came from the care industry and Jason brought experience leading teams in forensic mental health. They started Vana Care with a shared idea: take time to get to know the person, understand what matters to them and organise support around their everyday life.
Jes brings experience in the care sector and a focus on finding support that suits the person.
Jason brings experience leading teams in forensic mental health and a focus on consistent, person-centred support for South Australians.
Our story
Vana Care began with conversations about everyday support: who turns up, how well they listen and whether the arrangement works for the person. Jes and Jason brought their different experience together to build a local team around those questions.
Why We Do What We Do
What you enjoy matters when we look for a worker. That could be fishing, gaming, the gym or trying a new food truck. We also check your support needs, safety, location, schedule and which suitable workers are available.

What is Vana Care?
We're an Adelaide-based registered NDIS provider, started by Jes and Jason in 2021. Talk to us about support at home, getting out in the community or Supported Independent Living. We'll check what you need and whether we have suitable workers available.
What does 'Vana' mean?
For us, Vana means care with purpose: support that helps you make your own choices, stay connected and live with dignity.
What makes Vana Care different from other NDIS providers?
We're based in Adelaide. When we look for a worker, we talk about what you enjoy and who you feel comfortable with, as well as the help you need, safety, location and the times that suit you. We then check which suitable workers are available.
Is Vana Care a registered NDIS provider?
Yes. The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission public register lists Vana Care Pty Ltd as approved under registration 4050094069 until 17 July 2028.
Who is on the Vana Care team?
You'll find support workers and office staff on our team. The checks, training and experience needed depend on the role and the person being supported.
