What NDIS services does Vana Care offer?
We offer three core services: in-home disability support, community access and Supported Independent Living or SIL. NDIS funding may cover agreed supports when the plan has the applicable category and enough available funding.
Are your support workers qualified?
Vana Care checks the screening, qualifications and onboarding required for each role. The experience and additional training needed depend on the participant's support and risk requirements. Ask the intake team what requirements apply to your service and proposed worker.
Can I use more than one service?
You can ask about combining services, such as in-home support and community access. The team will check your goals, plan funding, service agreement, risks and suitable worker availability before confirming an arrangement.
What areas in Adelaide do you cover?
We accept enquiries from Greater Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills and selected nearby regional areas. Service availability depends on location, travel, support needs, worker fit and current capacity.
Is there one-on-one support available?
One-on-one support may be available when it is agreed, funded and operationally suitable. We aim for familiar regular workers and check support needs, availability, fit and safety before confirming a match.
Can I meet my support worker before starting?
You can ask for a meet and greet before regular support starts. If a proposed match is not right, the team will review alternatives subject to worker availability, support needs and safety.
How do I know what my NDIS plan covers?
Our team can explain Vana Care's services and indicative pricing, but only the NDIA can decide what your plan funds. Final claiming depends on your plan, available funding, service agreement, delivered supports and applicable NDIS pricing rules.
