Why People Love Working Here

Vana Care recruits support workers across Adelaide and matches suitable workers to participant needs, location and availability.

Matched shifts, not random rosters

Matching considers shared interests alongside participant needs, risks, location, schedule and suitable worker availability.

Real training and growth

Role-specific induction, required checks and training can include positive behaviour support, manual handling and first aid, depending on participant and role requirements.

An office that picks up the phone

Our support workers can contact the local office and follow the documented escalation path when something comes up on shift.

Careers: Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I apply?

Once you submit your application, our recruitment team reviews your details. If your application is suitable, we may contact you for a phone screen or interview. If you are successful after interview, you will receive an onboarding invitation where you can complete your employment details, sign required documents and upload your checks and certificates.

What checks do I need to work in disability support?

You will need an NDIS Worker Screening Check, and depending on the role, a Working with Children Check and first aid certificate. If you do not have them yet, that is fine. Tell us in your application and we will point you in the right direction. Having them ready makes the process faster.

Do I need qualifications or experience?

Experience in disability support, aged care or community services helps, but attitude matters more to us. Some of our best support workers came from fitness, hospitality and customer service. If you are reliable, caring and practical, we want to hear from you.

What roles do you hire for?

Mostly casual and part-time disability support workers across community access, in-home support and Supported Independent Living, right across Greater Adelaide. Your suburb and availability help us match you to clients near you.
